Acquired Tastes XLIII:
Gay Pulp Fiction, Part 216
Cruiser Classic
Today we take a brief look at the Cruiser Classic imprint.
Brought to you by the good people at Star Distributors, LTD., the Cruiser Classic imprint published only six titles; two in 1975 and four in 1977. Star Distributors, LTD. operated out of a P.O. Box at the Canal Street Station in New York City.
Other than the first book in the series, the cover design features a black and white erotic illustration on a gold colored background with the title of the book in a yellow or tomato-red graphic font centered near the top.
The numbering system begins with CC-101 and continues thusly.
These books are rather rare and, when found, can go for over $100. A copy of the first book in the series recently sold on eBay for $209!
I came close this week; I found all but one cover.

And that's all for now.
Next week: another fine vintage gay pulp fiction imprint.
Until then...

Short-lived, but effective cover work.
