One of my favorite things about the holiday season is that they serve as double-sided bookends. 

First you have the eve, then you have the day. It's two for the price of one, and you know how I love a bargain.

Well, bargain on some fun the next two days. 

New Year's Eve and New Year's Day are fraught with tantalizing possibilities.

If you need some inspiration, just take a gander at the couples below. They sure know how to ring in the new year right!

Ask more of yourself than you ask of others.

Keep you chin up and do your best to find the good in everything.

We don't know what the year holds in store for us...we never do. Best bet? Remain grateful. Even for the tiniest of moments. I've come to believe they're what make up a lifetime. No, they don't last long and you're a fool to try and hang on to them... but do recognize them, acknowledge them and treasure them.
