Well, I'll be! Who knew there was such a thing?

But then it only makes sense. 

I mean, one can only stand by so long before you're like, "Helen! Give that thing a rest already."

Celebrated on the first Friday of March, it's the National Day Of Unplugging!

Yes, the time has come for some of us to hop off one thing... and hop on another!

Hmmm... Personally, I can think of a few 'things' I'd like to 'hop' on. And they ain't made of silicon, honey!

Whatever your treasure and whatever your pleasure... today is the day to unplug, my dears.

Yes, just for today, give 'Harold' or 'Reginald' or whatever you've named your favorite plaything a well-earned rest in his special spot in the drawer of the nightstand on your side of the bed (under that pile of underwear you bought thinking you'd look good in (but didn't) and that copy of the King James you stole from a Holiday Inn Express in Boystown last Labor Day Weekend.)

It's just for a day. I know you can do it. 

And if you do need a little something-something? Why get on Grndr or Sniffies, or... better yet, pop down to your local gay watering hole and do some personal shopping in the flesh. 

Hey, just because you unplug doesn't mean you must go unfulfilled!
