This coming alive, from bud to bloom, brings with it such promise, such hope; an anticipation so ripe that it is almost too much to bear or comprehend.
Yes, despite what we do to this amazing planet, it keeps delivering, year after year, this seemingly fragile, potent magic.
As we bear witness, let us all resolve to treat nature with the great respect it so deserves. Don't deter from its inherent beauty by marring the landscape with your debris.
Scout rules: whatever goes in with you, comes out with you.
And please refrain from trying to 'help' nature. Stick to well-worn trails, don't create your own, and please don't tear off the occasional annoying branch. Nature is not ours to prune. It knows exactly what it is doing... so respect its magic.
