Pastor James Worley

Oh, this one is rich (in a pervy sort of way).

James Worley, father of four and current senior pastor at Gresham, Oregon’s Powell Valley Church was arrested last week on 37 sex crime charges involving children between the ages of 12 and 14. 

The 37 counts include: two for rape, 20 for sexual abuse, 11 for sodomy, one for attempted sodomy, and three for using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct. All charges harken back to a time before ‘Jamie’ took the helm of Powell Valley Church in 2012. 

Pastor Jamie, as he is known by his congregation, is a former police officer who was fired by the city of Tillamook, Oregon back in 2007.  Seems Officer Jamie had a habit of unethically writing citations as a means of revenge, creating sexually explicit advertisements (I would love to see his Christian Mingle profile), hitting on co-workers who were not ‘feeling it’, ‘destroying’ (puff, puff) evidence while processing cases in the field which involved marijuana, and spending way too much time on the internet (oh, you porn dawg, you) while on duty. 

Dirty cop, dirty perv!  And, now, fallen spiritual leader.  What a resume’!

As of this writing, you can still find his profile on the church’s website.   One can only hope that once he found God, Jamie put his wicked, wicked ways behind him… but I seriously doubt it.  As do the authorities, who believe there are additional victims to be found.

It’s sad and tragic – for his victims – for sure.  Still, I can’t help but relish how the mighty have fallen. 

So, pick up your old back-issue of Hustler Magazine, turn to the featured cartoon ‘Chester the Molester’ and wave it in the air as a means of saluting Wonderland Burlesque’s first ‘Turdscooter of the Week’ of 2015: Pastor James Worley.
