I am on jury duty this week.  So out of my usual rut, and therefore, not conducive to much writing.

So, I have decided to contribute.  This week’s questions:

HOT FUN IN THE SUMMERTIME

1. Memorial Day is a day of remembrance but it also signifies the "Official" start of summer. What are your plans this weekend? 

I am just coming off a week of jury duty.  So I will be sitting with my Dad who has Alzheimer’s, mowing lawns, cleaning my parent’s house,  cleaning my house, doing laundry, walking the dogs, and trying to catch up on all the stuff at work I missed out on.  Yay.  I am such a winner!

2. What is your most and least favorite thing about summer?

Favorite thing: Less clothing, outdoor sex, and sunning the bod

Least Favorite thing:  Bugs, children, and increased police patrols in public parks

3. What is your favorite summer food?

Hotdogs with relish (of course) and all-fruit smoothies (no syrup, yuck)

4. Are you in swim suit shape yet?

Yet?  Always!  All those zumba and step classes, all that lifting, and all those crunches pay off once the sun comes out.

5. Vacation Plans? If you can't, what would you do if you could?

I hope to get to Chicago for a day (Steamworks?).  I hope to get to Madison for a weekend.  I hope to get to Duluth for a weekend (Sauna?).  And I am going to a nude campground for this BDSM All-Gay Male event in September!  I have NO IDEA what to expect, have never done anything like it, and am super looking forward to it.

6. Did you ever have to go to summer school?

Only in college, by choice, so I could graduate early. I loved it, because the instructors were a little more laid back, no one was on campus, and it felt like coasting.

7. Given the choice, which do you prefer: ocean, lake or pool?

Hmmm.  I love all water. I even love a bathtub or shower.  But my least favorite is a lake, because it is stagnant water and I fear microbes.  Rivers are fun, but dangerous, and I have misjudged several and almost drowned once.  Love the ocean – respect it.  And pools are always sweet and simple – like a big bathtub.  I like doing laps, rather mundane, but it brings out the Joan Crawford in me.

BONUS 

Sex on the beach?

Yes.  Not as bad as you would think. A little sand is good for friction. There’s a black sand beach on Oahu where I once fucked.  And the beaches along the shore of  rivers,  though not true beaches, sort of apply here.  The Mississippi has witnessed a lot of action featuring moi.  And Twin Lakes in Golden Valley?  Oh, yeah… whenever possible.  P.S.  Beware of sand crabs… and I’m not talking crustaceans!
