Friday Fun: He’s Certainly Got The Ball(s) For It

You can tell just by looking at him: he is an expert ball handler.  It’s in the way he holds them; the ease with which he manipulates them. 

He has good hands. 

You marvel at the way he grasps the goods.  Such a firm, sure grip.  And the way he carries and cradles them. 

It’s magical, captivating; like a great wrestler warming up for the big match.  He’s playing by himself, for now, just to get the juices flowing, but you know bigger things are to come.

There’s something about him that tells you he’s scored more than a few points in his time. He’s at the peak of his game, and his assets as a player are as blatant as his obvious skills.

"Put him in, Coach." He’s the man to take the situation in hand.

Maybe he’d be up for a pick-up game? 

You never know unless you ask. You could take advantage of his expertise, maybe get a few pointers.  You know, learn a thing or two.

A quick match might be just the thing to light your fire.  Going at it, one on one, man to man.  It gets your blood boiling just thinking about it.  Something about all that testosterone displayed on the court or field, not unlike warriors going head to head. 

Only in this case, you’re both the victors, because in the end, everybody wins.

So, approach him.  Sure, you don’t know him from Adam, but that is part of the thrill of it; playing with a total stranger.

And who knows?  You two get the ball rolling, maybe others who walk by will want to join in.  You'd be open to that.  The more the merrier.

So, do as Nike constantly tells you, “just do it”.  Take this dude on!  You got the balls for it.  

Go for it.  It will do you both a world of good. 

And when the opportunity arises, don’t hesitate.  You’re an old pro; on the court, the field, or wherever men get together to get hot and sweaty.

And proper ball handling?

Why, it’s all a part of the game.
