Wonderland Burlesque's Down The Rabbit Hole: Toby The Pup

Wonderland Burlesque's
Down The Rabbit Hole:
Toby The Pup

Down The Rabbit Hole merely places a spotlight on something slightly unusual that's caught my interest. With the help of Wikipedia, YouTube, and other sites, I gather information and learn something new.

Today, we take a look at the brief history of the vintage animation of Toby The Pup.

--- ---

From Wikipedia and other sources:

Toby the Pup is an animated cartoon character created by animators Sid Marcus, Dick Huemer, and Art Davis. He starred in a series of early sound shorts produced by Charles B. Mintz for RKO Radio Pictures. The series lasted from 1930 to 1931. A total of  twelve cartoons were produced, though some are now considered lost. The character was voiced by Dick Huemer.

Here are the cartoons I could find on YouTube. They are available on Blu-Ray/DVD, also.
