Christine and the Queens teams up with Cerrone and will have us all heading for the dance floor by the first beat.
Christine and the Queens have been on my radar for years, but I've never heard them sound so accessible, with a song that would make Robyn proud. Clean, propulsive and surprisingly bright, they manage to snake into your personal bio-rhythm and bring the body alive. You'll be wondering what year it is, for this is a bit of disco supreme.
And yes! It's THAT Cerrone - the famed French disco legend who gave us Supernature all those years ago. It's a surprising combo which goes down better than a veggie burger with fries.
Bravo and well done... destined to become a classic.
