Weekend Onesie:
Think Of The Children!
Part II
The health and well-being of children has long been one of the hallmarks of a truly civilized society.
And Madison Avenue has consistently been right there on the forefront, promoting the latest technological wonders to help ensure happy and healthy youngsters.
Just take a look at theses fascinating, irreverent and sometimes downright dangerous examples from the advertising archives.
It certainly does go a long way of explaining what's wrong with 'the older generations'.
Another glorious weekend is upon us.
Take advantage of it.
Find time to 'do you'!

and Dick Van Dyke
from the 1963 motion picture Bye Bye Birdie.
(Skin cancer aside, who doesn't love a golden brown baby?)
(Sort of like those heat lamps restaurants use to keep food warm.)
(Huh. There's a thought...)
(Now that's some top notch pre-natal and post natal care!)
(Given my lack of love for the little darlings, I would encourage all parents to give their children lighters. They make great stocking stuffers!)
(This would appear to be something America has taken very seriously. Because fat is where it's at, baby!)
(Note: A lot of 'toothaches' among adults in the late 1970's and 1980's - especially among those Wall Street types.)
(Umm... that's not muscle, dear.)
"Dextrose use can lead to dangerously high blood sugar or fluid buildup in the body, which may cause swelling and fluid in the lungs. People with the following conditions should avoid dextrose: high blood sugar. swelling in arms, legs, or feet."
(All vomiting, tremors, shakiness, and seizures aside.)
(Oh, what the hell. Let them eat paint chips.)

What a fun post!
I wonder if dextrose causes also swelling in the cock??? Vintage ads fasinate me as well. I would love to hear the thought that went in to them.
