Yes! August is  National Sandwich Month!

And if there is one thing that gets my mouth watering big time, it's a sandwich.

I don't know what it is about them. When well-made, they are compact, delicious and nutritious, not to mention cozy and comforting. 

Maybe it's the condiments? Maybe it's the combination of the outer layers and the inner good stuff? Maybe it's the bounty of variety and flavor?

But if you announce you're having a sandwich? 

I want in.
