Now... I don't know about you... but I am not the type to pick up a hitchhiker.
Though... I think I could be swayed.
While it's always wise to err on the side of safety...
I have never been one to turn down an open invitation.
Or a free meal.

I've never picked up a hitchhiker yet but I did once see a really hot guy hitchhiking and I was almost tempted, but I didn't. I know some of these people are just going cross country hiking and need a lift occasionally, but it's the horror stories that we hear that have killed it for all of them. And of course I've seen porns.... but I think we realize that probably would not happen, but who knows.
I have never seen a hitchhiker. Ever.
Do people still do it???

I picked up a hitchhiker once. He mugged me.
I used to hitchhike when I was a youngster. I guess I was lucky.
I'm old enough to have routinely hitdhhiked scores of times, When I lived in the mountains, I hitched to and from work almost daily. I aslo used to hitch from San Francisco to Portland and back; and hitched all through Europe way back in the 80s. And when I have wheels, I didn't hesitate to pick up hitchhikers. (Well, I guess I did pass by some people if they looked suspicious.)
I never had a bad experience and (alas!) never a porno sex fantasy hitchhiking experience become a reality. I did meet friendly people who quickly drifted out of my life forever. Too bad those days are gone for good.
I admit I was expecting to hear Maravin Gaye and the Rolling Stones, so I went to YouTube and remenisced a bit.
