Yes, we made it through the first hoop! Thanksgiving has come and gone. 

I  do hope you had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed every moment.

And speaking of moments...

You know the moment the table is cleared, dishes are washed, and the leftovers carefully stored? The countdown begins. Yes, time to plan for the next festivities. Make way. Because here it comes!

Well, don't be in too much of a rush, making commitments and promises. Be careful not to spread yourself too thin, or cast too wide a net.

You know how it goes? 

You mean well, but before you know it? Why your feet are practically knocked out from under you.

I know it's all too easy to get caught up in the spirit of the season and overcommit. 

But see... that's when what should be fun? Becomes a pain.

So take a firm stance, now.

And avoid the pain that comes when budgets and schedules are stretched to the breaking point. 

Yes, there are serious consequences when we overcommit ourselves.

Remember! This is supposed to be fun. Not painful.
