Weekend Onesie:
Teen Cream Dreams
16 Magazine, Tiger Beat, Teen Bag, Teen Beat, Teen Stars, Teen World, Dynamite, Bravo, Look-In, Spunky...
Surely, the seventies were a more innocent time?
Hardly.
For these photos beg the questions...
Exactly what were these magazines selling?
And who was their target audience?
Enquiring minds want to know!

Hope you're enjoying the weekend.
July is officially in the rearview mirror.
Hang on to summer as long as you can!

I used to be in love with Tony Danza and Christopher Atkins.
What a blast from the past! When I was a child in the seventies, my teenage babysitters would often have copies of Teen Beat and Tiger Beat lying around. The pin-ups of the heartthrobs definitely gave me a "funny good feeling" and an erotic awakening! But even then, I couldn't see the allure of Leif Garrett.
