Weekend Onesie:
Winter's Hostage
Spring is winter's hostage still... not yet free from it's icy, frigid grip.
I await the day when, in full bloom, she caresses the world once more with her gentle wafting warmth.
Then I, too, shall bloom, emerging from this Covid slumber.
Bursting forth toward summer's promise. Summer's heat.
But 'til then... spring remains a captive.
As stilled as my wanton heart, which beats oppressed in anxious isolation.

Have a lovely weekend.
Wishing you all the very best.
Enjoy.

we are currently having snow flurries - WTF? not predicted.
about 3/4ths of the snow we had in feb has melted; what remains is the large snow banks created by our plow guy.
supposedly we will hit 60s this coming week - HOORAY!
I really appreciate your writing.
Spring weather over the weekend. Not supposed to last long, though. Kisses.
