Friday Fun: Celebrate National Dress Day!

Friday Fun:
Celebrate National Dress Day!

National Dress Day is actually tomorrow, March 6th. Today is National Cheese Doodle Day, but the thought of 101 pictures of the orange ogre's pitiful, tiny dangler made me a bit nauseated, so I looked elsewhere.

Yes! Dress. For success, be your best... A pretty mess? Or a haute one?

Hemlines? Ha! More like men lines...

Pssst... Off-the-rack? Zipper in back!

Your silhouette, my pet? Straight? Flared? A-line?

Mature couture? Something outdoorsy?

Perhaps you defy all labels?

Go ahead... Plumb the depths of your peplum! (I'll watch.)

And top it all off with a nice pearl necklace to complete your look.

Whatever your style...

Fashion forward... and back. Forward, and back...

So fling your heels in the air!

And get frocked, my dears.

Good and frocked.

But wear a mask!

(I hear they're 'in' this season.)

--- ---

Wishing you all the very best.
We are experiencing above normal temps.
Enjoy!

How much imagination in male dresses!

I'll take the Billy Porter tuxedo ball gown.

If I had money, I'd only wear Thom Browne. I swear his dresses are out of this world.
And I wish I could wear what gown Billy Porter wore to the Oscars! Work!

XOXO

these guys look better in a dress than I do! I last wore a dress probably in the mid 70s.

Great opening to this post, Upton! As for the photos, well, I have often wondered why men wear pants when we have equipment which requires room. Women should be the ones wearing pants. And the same with bicycles: Men get the nut-cruncher bars, the ladies don't. Doesn't make much practical, anatomical sense, does it?

P.S. I once wore a skirt to a hospital to visit a very ill friend. One of the very last memories I have of him, is his laughter on that visit. It's been almost 10 years, and I still miss him.
