Wow. I can't believe it's over. Sixty four weekly posts. Sixty-four profiles of some of the most iconic men every to grace the gay porn silver screen.
Today, we take a look back and say good-bye to the Lost Boys, a series which I have truly enjoyed cobbling together. When I started this in on August 6, 2020, I had no idea that I would continue to find subjects each week for over a year. And then again, at one point, I was convinced that I would never run out of subjects. But it feels right to end this series now - my work is complete.
If you asked me to pick a favorite, I couldn't. Some of these men remain as mysterious as they were before I started the series, while others ended up revealing parts of themselves that simply blew me away. So many surprises. So much drama. I can't tell you the number of times I would be in the process of learning about one of these men only to find myself saying, 'wow, this would make a great movie!'
Well, here they all are, one last time.

Love that you used my girl Charli for the soundtrack.
And I think that you did a great job with this series. Really. The golden age of Gay porn did give us some true stars and some of their lives are a movie script waiting to happen.

Thanks a Million to you! For you led us through a magnificent, sometimes weird, even disturbing at times, always enlightening journey.
You gave me the opportunity to see and consider these men via more than had met my eyes.
Not only have you been as thorough as could be at searching who they were given the available materials, you've also been a fine teller of their stories, always understanding but without the trappings of ease.
This is not me going with politically correct compliments whatsoever. But I do believe that you should consider, if not already, compiling these sixty posts and making it a standalone publication. And I mean an actual paper publication - I think us elders call that a Book :-))
As for me - us - I can't wait discovering what's the next series of stories you'll be writing.

I have to go back and look at the first postings as I was taking my self imposed 'covid sex shut down' when you started it.
The Jeremy Brent article was how I found your blog and I've been a lurking reader ever since! Though it's bittersweet to say goodbye to a well loved feature, the body of work is remarkable and important. Your playful and impeccably researched contributions to the preservation and humanization of Gay porn history is awesome! Thank you!
